Business Development Representative
Qualifications
- High English Proficiency: Exceptional English skills in both speaking and writing for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional Experience: Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as B2B/B2C sales or recruitment, with a proven track record of success.
- Business Development: Experience in business development at any scale is highly valued.
- Critical Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Flexibility: Availability for some weekday nights and Saturday events, with flexible start times and substitute days off.
- Preferred Education: A business degree such as an MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Cultural Interest: An interest in Japanese businesses and culture is a plus.
Core Responsibilities
- Student Recruitment: Engage in activities such as trial classes, seminars, and fairs to recruit students.
- Student Support: Assist students in maximizing their study experience and achieving their potential as business leaders through onboarding, study support, and career and life planning.
- Program Promotion: Communicate the key features and strengths of our Pre-MBA and MBA programs to interested candidates through consultations.
- Sales Strategy: Track sales numbers and collaborate with the sales manager to devise creative strategies for achieving quarterly goals.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in the GLOBIS community, promoting community building and leveraging relationships with prospects, students, and alumni for organizational benefit.
- Channel Development: Develop new channels through external partnerships and collaborations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with overseas teams to enhance the effectiveness of student recruitment activities.
